1. How You Opt In to SMS Messages
- Initial responses to your service inquiry (qualification questions)
- Appointment confirmation and booking details
- Follow-up messages if you abandon the booking process (up to 3 messages over 72 hours)
- Appointment reminders
We do not send unsolicited marketing messages — we only respond to inquiries you initiate by texting us first. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
2. Information We Collect
When you text us, we collect and process:
- Your phone number — to send you SMS replies
- Your messages — to understand your service request
- Your name — to personalize responses and book appointments
- Your service address — to dispatch technicians and confirm the job location
- Equipment details — furnace type, AC unit, etc., to prepare the technician
- Timestamp — to track message order and follow-up timing
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your HVAC service inquiry
- Qualify your lead and understand your needs
- Book service appointments into the contractor's calendar
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders
- Follow up if you don't complete the booking
4. SMS / Mobile Information Sharing
All other categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your information is shared only with:
- The HVAC contractor you're contacting — to fulfill your service request
- Service providers that operate our system: Twilio (SMS delivery), Airtable (secure data storage), Google Calendar (appointment booking), and Anthropic (AI message generation). These providers process data only to operate the service and not for their own marketing.
We do NOT sell, trade, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies based on your interaction. Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. AutoBook does not charge you for SMS delivery.
6. Opt-Out Instructions
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any SMS we send. You will receive a single confirmation message, then no further messages. You may re-opt-in at any time by texting us again.

8. Data Security
We protect your personal information using industry-standard encryption and secure storage practices. Data is stored in Airtable (encrypted at rest) and transmitted over HTTPS.
9. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep conversation and appointment records for 90 days after your last interaction, then delete them. You can request deletion at any time by replying HELP or emailing us.

You have the right to:
- Know what information we collect and how we use it (this policy)
- Opt out of SMS messages at any time (reply STOP)
- Request deletion of your data (reply HELP or contact us)
- Not receive marketing messages (we don't send them)

Our service is not intended for users under 18. If you're under 18, please do not text us.
